Rainbow Feathers Fourteenth Annual Bird Fair April 30, 2011

We are getting excited for the Rainbow Feathers Bird Fair this Saturday at the Romulus High School. Like always, there will be a great raffle. I noticed last time that people just show up for the raffle. Also, there will be a bake sale (not Meijer brand baked goods but homemade!) Little Man himself and Casey will be joining us this Sat, make sure to stop by. Check out images from the Tenth Annual Fair:

We hope to see familiar faces and lots of new ones too! We love all of the birdies.

Pics - Motor City Bird Breeders Expo 2011

We really enjoyed ourselves at the Expo last Saturday. The weather was a bit gloomy and vendors seemed nervous that the date had been changed last minute. Overall it was a success and we met lots of new vendors and bird lovers. It was a great place for people to discover our liners.

New tent for the Little Ones

The little guys got a new tent and toy yesterday. They really like it but wouldn't pose for a shot. Every few weeks I totally rearrange their cage so it's new and fun for them.

My baby Cockatoo

Makamae is 4 years old and will be five this November 2011. He is growing fast just like a toddler. I received pictures of him from the breeder of his hatching. They are so sweet I thought I'd share them with you.

Attending the Motor City Bird Expo!

I'm sure most of you have heard of the Motor City Bird Breeders Expo. We are so excited to be attending the show on April 2, 2011 for the first time! We are ready to meet new people within the bird industry, and hopefully bring in more business. I have fun plans to decorate our 8' table, I love working trade shows. We will be selling several sizes of pre-packaged cage liners and also handing out business cards, brochures, and maybe some other goodies for your birdies. Hope to see you there!

It's Shower Time

All of our birds love to hang out in the master bathroom with us every morning or night while we get ready, especially when it's shower time. They're usually on different shower schedules depending on their moods but I pretty much know when it's time. Here is Maka after his shower today, he flips out because he's having so much fun. He gets crazy funny.

Meet the Little Man Cage Liner family!

We are huge bird lovers ourselves. Our first born white-faced gray cockatiel is named Little Man, although there is speculation as to whether he is a man or not! We also have another cockatiel named Casey, who is the singer of the family, and last 'but always demands first' is our wonderful Umbrella Cockatoo named  Makamae (which means precious and cherished in Hawaiian) but you can call him Maka. He was shipped to us from a Hawaiian bird breeder.

We have also been feeding the outside birds (a window show for our inside birds) so I guess you could say we take care of more than 100 birds or so, whew! Our visitors include black-capped chickadees, tufted titmouses, mourning doves, a variety of sparrows, blue jays, cardinals, and nuthatches.

Welcome to the Little Man Cage Liners blog!

Hello fellow bird lovers! We have created this blog to keep you updated with the latest on anything Little Man Cage Liners has to offer, and cute pictures of our own feathered friends. We sell custom sized cage liner paper up to 25" x 38" in packages of 100, just give us your cage dimensions. We use white cover weight paper that's easy to discard and change daily. Email us at littlemancageliners@yahoo.com.
